Track conditions are likely to change here due to wet conditions. At the time of writing (2021-05) it's mostly easy/medium on the eastern side, but over on the western side there's a big step up which would be difficult (winching likely). There are a couple opportunities to exit the track to the south which allows one to avoid the difficult section.
Recommended direction: start east, heading west.
